Layna R. Austin is a Life Science major from Checotah. She
is an active member of the Cheerleading team and participated
in the 2007-2008 NCA/NDA Collegiate National Championships in
Daytona, FL, where the team placed 3rd in the nation. |

Krystal Baker is a journalism major from McAlester.
Krystal is a member of the Photo Club, the Mountaineer yearbook
and the Editor of the Statesman newspaper. She placed 3rd
in Feature Writing at the NSU Competition and Best Overall Newspaper
at OCPA & NSU. |

Maggie Barber is a Journalism/Theatre major
from McAlester. She is an active member of the Photo Club,
Drama Club, a recipient of the Academic Excellence Award, the
Gene Stipe Scholarship Award and is on the Dean's Honor Roll
for two semesters. She is a Child Care Assistant, teaches
Sunday school and is also a volunteer church librarian. She
is a writer for college newspaper The Statesman and for the Mountaineer
Yearbook. |

Jenna L. Bills is a Life Science (Dentistry) major from Wilburton. Jenna
is the daughter of Joyce and Gilbert Bills and niece to Mr. and
Mrs. Tracy Clark. Jenna was on the Eastern Dance Team when
they placed 3rd nationally at the 2007-08 NCA/NDA National Collegiate
Championship in Daytona, FL. She is also in the Eastern
Band. |

Teresa Chaudoin is an Administrative Office
Technology (Medical Option) major from Wilburton. Teresa
is work-study for Kay Langham. Teresa also cares for her mother
and children, is a church member and does light housekeeping
for the church members. |

Brittany Cook is an Elementary Education major
from Wilburton. Brittany is a member in the Photo Club and the
Psycho Club. She
was on Best Yearbook Staff 2007-2008, Best Newspaper Staff 2007-2008
and is the recipient of the Student Support Scholarship 2007-2008. Brittany
is the work-study for the Yearbook and Journalism Departments. She
is the President for the Photo Club 2008-2009 and was Vice President
in 2007. She was also the President of the Psycho Club in 2007-2008. |

Lacy Crites is an Animal Science (Pre-Vet)
major from Antlers. Lacy
is an Aggie Club Member and enjoys participating in rodeos. She
works for Ward's Ranch training barrel horses. |

Jacy Crowl is a Life Science major from Hartshorne. Jacy
is an active member on the Eastern Pom and Dance Team and placed
3rd NCA/NDA Collegiate Nationals Championships in Daytona, FL,
2007-2008 where the team placed 3rd in the nation. |

Chelsye Deaton is an Elementary Education major from McAlester.
Chelsye was on the Eastern Cheerleader Team in 2005-2006 when they
took 1st Place Championship in NCA/NDA Collegiate Nationals in
Daytona, FL. Chelsye was also named as Outstanding Elementary
Education Student 2007, Outstanding Spanish I & II 2006 & 2007
and has been on the Dean's Honor Roll every semester. Chelsye was
a waitress at Adelita's five days week. She is a student for Registered
Medical Assistant and she taught Math/Spanish at the McAlester
Christian Academy and also tutored outside students. Chelsye
made Who's Who in 2007. |

Kimberly Dull is an Elementary Education major from Harrah. Kimberly
is an Aggie Club Member, Eastern Cheerleader who participated in
the NCA/NDA Nationals Collegiate in Daytona, FL. She is the
Vice President for the Fellowship of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), and
also Baptist Collegiate Ministries (BCM). She earned a number
of scholarships, which are the Presidential Scholarship, the Cheerleader
Scholarship and the Pat Thomas Foundation. She works in the registrar's
office and cleans houses and offices on weekends. |

Marcus G. Dunn is Agriculture major from Chandler. Marcus
is an active member in the Aggie Club and the Photo Club. He
has a State FFA Degree and an American FFA Degree. He works
on the campus farms, family farm, markets cattle, selects stock
to breed to specific bulls and also works at Miller Farms. Marcus
also writes for the college newspaper, The Statesman. |
