Area Students Compete At College Sponsored FFA Contests

Students placing in the Junior Division of the Livestock judging contest were among 100 schools from Oklahoma, Arkansas and Texas bringing nearly 1,300 students to compete in the FFA Interscholastic Judging Contest April 11 and 12 hosted by Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton. Winning students included, from left: Dylan McGill from Tuttle winning first place followed by Jessica Marshall, Idabel, second; Joey Atteberry, Hydro-Eakly, third; Matthew Delozier, Haworth, forth and Chance Billups, Delaware County in fifth.

The Idabel High School FFA Junior Team placed fifth in Junior Livestock Judging and was among 100 schools from Oklahoma, Arkansas and Texas bringing nearly 1,300 students to compete in the FFA Interscholastic Judging Contest April 11 and 12 hosted by Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton.
