Eastern Oklahoma State College GEAR UP for a Brighter Tomorrow Web/Computer Tech Specialist George Larson, right, recently delivered approximately $5,000 of technology equipment to LeFlore Superintendent Dennis Hensley. LeFlore received five HP dx2450 desktop computers, six Acer 17" LCD panels, an HP Laserjet P3600 printer, six Logitech USB keyboard/mouse sets, a Logitech Ergonomic wireless keyboard/mouse combo, and an HP 530 T5200 laptop computer.

"We are pleased to welcome LeFlore as a partner in Eastern's GEAR UP for a Brighter Tomorrow grant," explained GEAR UP Project Director Linda Morgan. "Eastern is partnering to provide tutoring, professional development for teachers, summer camps for cohort students, and much more."

Eastern Oklahoma State College received a $6.7 million federal GEAR UP grant and is in its third year of implementation. Eastern has partnered with area schools to provide students with additional educational opportunities.
