Kiamichi Electric Funds Forestry Student Scholarships

Kiamichi Electric Coop CEO Steve Bryan, right, recently presented a check in the amount of  $2,500 to Eastern Oklahoma State College Forestry instructor Eddie Woods, left and Eastern Director of Development and Alumni Relations Ann Owens. According to Woods, the funds will be used to provide scholarships to forestry students from the Wilburton college and were donated as a result of the students willingness to help the rural coop survey right-of-ways around the nearby Robbers Cave State Park.
