Area Emergency Responders Attend 'Active Shooter' Class

Wilburton Mayor and Eastern Reserve Police Officer Stephen Brinlee, right, was one of 29 participants attending an "active shooter" class hosted on the Wilburton campus of Eastern Oklahoma State College Saturday (November 15). Also pictured are Bonnie Fry, Eastern "COP" student from Wilburton and Eastern Police officer Tim Talley from Hartshorne. The all day training included classroom instruction as well as an interactive police practicum that involved learning how to respond to an active shooter situation.
