Land Lease To Benefit Wilburton Agriculture Students Latimer county commissioners, from left, John Medders, District 2; Dennis Deela, District 1 and Roy Alford, District 3, met with Eastern Oklahoma State College President Dr. Steve Smith at the Latimer County Courthouse Monday (Sept.29) to sign a 99 year lease of Eastern property west of the Eastern Agriculture Complex south of Highway 270 to Latimer County allowing Wilburton Public Schools to use the land for building construction. Eastern Regents approved the lease at their August 15 meeting. Wilburton 4-H and FFA agriculture students who live in town or do not otherwise have an area to keep and train animals for show will be able to use the facilities to house their animals.
