Eastern Students Earn Oklahoma Academic Team Honors

The Oklahoma Association of Community Colleges (OACC) presented All-Oklahoma Academic Team recognition to two Eastern Oklahoma State College students at their 42nd annual meeting in Midwest City March 12-13. Kayla Lucas, a sophomore pre-med major from Buffalo Valley and Kaysie Fields, center, a sophomore agriculture communications major from Wetumka, were presented the awards by Eastern President Dr. Steve Smith. They will both receive a scholarship for the award and are planning to complete their bachelor’s degree after graduation from Eastern.
