McAlester Sophomore Given Honors By Campus Business Club

Megan Carline, McAlester, has been named “Member of the Month” by Eastern Oklahoma State College’s business organization, Phi Beta Lambda (PBL). Carline was nominated for the honor for her involvement in the organization. She is a sophomore Business Administration major and currently serves as the chapter’s vice president and secretary.

Megan has been very active in PBL. She recruited four Partners with Eastern’s PBL who are also professional division members. She organized a teddy bear collection for PBL's "Every Child Deserves A Smile" by speaking to teachers and putting up fliers. She is also active in Student Government.

With a membership over 250,000 and nearly 15,000 chapters in the United States and abroad, Future Business Leaders of America–Phi Beta Lambda, Inc. is a growing national student organization. The organization prepares students for careers not only in business, but in any career where communication and interaction are keys to the work environment.
