Eastern Hosts 30th Annual Scholastic Contest On Wilburton Campus

Eastern Oklahoma State College hosted the 30th Annual Scholastic Contest (April 7) during all-day academic competition on the Wilburton campus. There were 57 participating schools and more than 1,416 entries in 31 tests, 20 schools in Division I, 17 schools in Division II and 20 schools in Division III.
 
Winners in Division I, 1st place, Lakewood Christian; 2nd place, Kiowa; 3rd place, Webbers Falls; Division II, 1st. place, Preston; 2nd place, Smithville; 3rd place, Haileyville; Division III,1st place, Idabel; 2nd place, Hartshorne; 3rd place, Broken Bow
 
Sweepstake’s over-all winner is Preston.  The 1st runner up is Lakewood Christian, 2nd runner up is Kiowa; 3rd place is Smithville, 4th place is Idabel.
