Congressman Boren Tours New Student Center

United States Congressman Dan Boren, center, joined a walk-through of the new Student Center on the Wilburton campus of Eastern Oklahoma State College today (Tuesday). He was shown many of the modern features in the building by David Munholland, left, Oakridge Builders Superintendent as well as Rudy O'Donley, Eastern Maintenance Director; Dr. Steve Smith, Eastern President and Greg Collins, Oakridge Builders Senior Project Manager. The building is nearing completion and is slated to be open by the time students arrive back on campus in August for the fall semester. The 31,000 square-foot facility is replacing the old Student Union and will house the college cafeteria, bookstore, post office as well as an all new ballroom and modern class rooms.
