Don’t throw it out!! It “ain’t” junk mail and it’s lime green!!!

Students who have enrolled for Fall classes at Eastern Oklahoma State College should be on the look out for a lime green envelope soon to arrive in their mail boxes.

The lime green envelopes should be arriving just before classes begin Monday, August 9, according to Eastern Business Office Manager Linda Enis.

“Just about every regularly enrolled student attending Fall classes should be receiving one of the special envelopes,” she said.

The Wilburton based college has partnered with Higher One, a financial services company focused solely on higher education, to offer faster delivery of disbursements to students. Students should receive financial aid, class refunds or just about any other refund from the college weeks sooner than the system that has been in place for years.

Higher One will bring this new method for receiving funds via the Easy Refund Card Debit MasterCard.

“The students will find the Easy Refund Debit Card Master Card and instructions for activation inside the lime green envelope,” Enis said. “It’s not a credit card. It’s a debit card.

“Students can select between using the card or direct deposit of any financial aid or refund from Eastern into a bank account of their choice.

“Students need to activate and bring the debit cards with them when the come to college as fall semester classes begin,” she said.

“The Easy Refund Card Debit Master Card is the fastest and easiest way to gain access to your refund money literally the same day Eastern releases it.

Remember, it’s a new system and it’s coming to your house in a lime green envelope mailed in the first week of August from Higher One.

Enis says any question may be directed to the Eastern Business Office at (918) 465-1831.
