WILBURTON, OK (Feb. 2, 2012) – The McAlester High School indoor marching band will be performing with the Eastern Oklahoma State College pep band at an upcoming Mountaineers basketball game Monday, Feb. 13.
The high school band, under the direction of Sean DeNike of McAlester High School and Patrick Moore of Eastern Oklahoma State College, will also be playing selections from Bon Jovi during halftime of the men’s basketball game. Music for the halftime performance was arranged by Mark Price of McAlester High School and Moore.
“This performance is a great opportunity for McAlester students to get an idea of what the program at Eastern is like,” said Moore. “It is also a great way to collaborate between these two programs.”
The game begins at 8 p.m. in Wilburton and tickets are $2 for students and $3 for general admission.
