A message from the Vice President for Student Affairs

It’s challenging to explain the powerful impact of the student experience at Eastern Oklahoma State College to those who haven’t experienced it first hand. At Eastern we prepare students both inside and outside the classroom to continue down the path of lifelong learning, assume roles of leadership, and to pursue a high level of involvement and service in a global community. The wide range of opportunities that Eastern provides makes a difference in the future of those we have the opportunity to serve.

Student Affairs has several departments including Student Services, Enrollment Management, Recruitment, Financial Aid, Testing, GEAR UP Program, and Athletics that play a vital role in creating and maintaining healthy community relationships and a healthy campus environment through a variety of services and activities beyond the classroom. Students are the life of the college, and we seek to engage and support them in their pursuit of discovery that will optimize their college experience.

Student Affairs provides students an opportunity to develop leadership skills in several ways on campus including student organizations, residential housing, and scholarship programs. We support students through personal counseling, career counseling, financial aid and a wide array of other programs and services.
