Eosc-Net Tech Support - Dial-Up FAQ


Dial-up Support
Dial-up is available for faculty and staff only.  Please contact Computer Services to have your dial-up
account created.
Dorm residents and campus housing residents have access to Eosc-net via wired or wireless connections.

I know how to setup dial-up, what's the number?
Main Campus:  918.465.0175
Branch Campus:  918.426.0044


 

Q. How do I set up the dial-up on my PC - Windows 95/98?

A.  Follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Click on Start, Programs, Accessories, Dial-up Networking
  2. Double Click on Make a New Connection
  3. Name the Connection EOSC-NET, then click on Next
  4. Type in the Modem Number:   Wilburton 918-465-0175 or McAlester 918-426-0044,  then click on Next
  5. Click on Finish

  6. Now Right Click on the newly created dial-up icon  EOSC-NET

    DNS is Optional:

  7. Select properties, left click
  8. Click on specify Name Server Addresses
  9. For Wilburton Campus use this Primary DNS:  164.58.198.138
  10. For Wilburton Campus use this Secondary DNS:  164.58.253.10
  11. For McAlester Campus use this Primary DNS:  164.58.253.10
  12. For McAlester Campus use this Secondary DNS:  164.58.253.4
  13. Click on OK, Then close all dialog boxes


  14. To Dial-up EOSC-NET, double click on the EOSC-NET icon
  15. Your user name is the first part of your e-mail name.  ex:  jdoe
  16. Enter your password
    Click on Connect
