Eastern Music Department to present Fall Concert Oct. 6
WILBURTON, OK (Sept. 28, 2016) – Eastern Oklahoma State College’s Music Department will present its annual Fall Concert Oct. 6 at 7 p.m. in Mitchell Auditorium in Wilburton.
The event will feature performances by the Concert Band, Concert Choir and Eastern Expressions. Admission is free and open to the general public.
Renditions of Amy Winehouse’s “Valerie,” John Mayer’s “Neon” and The Temptations’ “My Girl” are just a sample of the night’s lineup.
Eastern Instructor of Music Dr. Brandon Hendrix will lead his students in this showcase of talent.
“We are excited to present a variety of selections to usher in the fall season,” said Hendrix. “We welcome the opportunity to share our talents for the enjoyment of the community.”
Students performing this year include Leila Aaron, Jacalyn Hulsey and Chance Reeves of Wilburton; Victoria Cole, Anna Little and Daniel Tucker of Kiowa; Kayla Carr and Kira Carr of Checotah; Krystina Cabrera of McAlester; Christopher Ainsworth of Gowen; Samantha Cosper of Canadian; Clay Hawes of Talihina; Zana Johnson of Kinta; Nicholos Martindale of Howe; Dante Miller of Quinton; Rebecca Needham of Clayton; Lucinda Roberts of Yanush; and Igor Leal of Padrao, Brazil.
