Eastern students to begin classes online at McCurtain County Campus in Idabel

WILBURTON, OK (Aug. 4, 2020) – Due to the number of positive COVID-19 cases in the area, Southeastern’s McCurtain County Campus in Idabel will start the fall semester with no in-person classes and offer all courses online only via Zoom. This includes Eastern Oklahoma State College students taking courses in Idabel, with the exception of the nursing program.

This delivery method will be evaluated every two weeks and could be modified. Classes will move back to in-person delivery as soon as conditions allow for a safe campus reopening.

The McCurtain County Campus is open by appointment only for enrollment purposes and for students to use the computer lab. All students, faculty, staff and visitors are required to wear face coverings inside campus buildings.

Eastern fall semester classes begin on the evening of Aug. 10, and Southeastern classes begin the following week on Aug. 17.
