Mountaineer Radio
Mountaineer Radio, broadcasting from the beautiful campus of Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton, Oklahoma is the home of "The Mix" 93.1 FM serving the Red Oak, Wilburton, Hartshorne, McAlester area and 104.9 FM serving the Broken Bow and Idabel area. Tune in and hear live music, sports, weather, public service and community announcements, live interviews, and much more.
Mountaineer Radio offers the "Best Mix" music programming that appeals to most audiences and ages. Music genres include top 40, light rock and light classic rock, adult contemporary, pop, and even some of today's cross-over country.
Eastern Students are involved with the radio station, serving as interns and on-air personalities. Students produce news and weather reports, public service announcements and other programming. They also have the opportunity to select music, produce their own show, help with live remotes and provide play-by-play and color commentary during sports broadcasts.

Kade Reed
Kade is the station manager and afternoon show host for Mountaineer Radio. He is a 2021 graduate of Northern Arizona University and spent much of his time there as the Sports Director of the school's radio station, KJACK 107.1. Kade had a sport talk show on the station where he talked everything sports. He also called play-by-play for the local high schools in Flagstaff, Arizona and the college's club hockey team, the NAU IceJacks while with KJACK. Currently, Kade is a Sports Coordinator and announcer of Mountaineer Radio-TV which consists of "The Mix" 93.1 FM serving the Wilburton and McAlester surrounding areas, 104.9 FM serving the Broken Bow/Idabel area, and Mountaineer TV which streams Eastern and local high school sporting events. Kade was born in Aurora, Colorado and is a first-time resident of Wilburton. Kade has a passion for sports and calling live sporting events.

Zak Smith
Zak is a sports commentator, internship coordinator and morning show host for Mountaineer Radio. Hailing from the great state of Ohio, Zak is a 2022 graduate of Bowling Green State University. Not only was he a four-year broadcaster for the Bowling Green Radio Sports Organization but worked for the Galion Graders of the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate Baseball League. Before EOSC, Zak was a member of the WMFD Sports Team in Mansfield Ohio, covering local high school sports in the Richland and Crawford County areas. Zak was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and is a first-time resident of Wilburton. When not behind the mic, Zak can be found rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Boston Red Sox.
