Eastern Oklahoma Regional Science and Engineering Fair

The 2026 Eastern Oklahoma State Regional Science and Engineering Fair is set for Feb. 12, 2026 at Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton. Visit the links below or the Science and Engineering Fair Facebook page for additional information about the event.

The annual event is for all math and science students in grades 6 through 12 from Atoka, Choctaw, Haskell, Latimer, LeFlore, McCuratin, Pittsburg and Pushmataha counties. The Fair encourages students to: 

• Learn the scientific method
• Learn laboratory safety
• Complete library research
• Learn proper laboratory techniques
• Conduct original scientific research
• Learn reporting of experimental results
• Compete with their peers in an academic setting
• Earn recognition for their original work
• Begin studies which may lead to a career
