Admissions & Testing

Students can schedule an appointment with an academic adviser to enroll for classes once the required information and documents are submitted (see requirements list below).

Concurrent High School Admissions
Concurrent high school students must be eligible to satisfy the high school curricular requirements for college no later than the spring of their senior year. A high school student may enroll in a combined number of high school and college courses per semester, not to exceed a seven (7) class period schedule as long as the college course(s) are included in the high school schedule. For purposes of calculating workload, one-half high school credit course shall be equivalent to three semester credit hours of college work. A high school student must meet the following requirements for admission:
1. The student must complete an acceptable admission exam:
  - For concurrent enrollment, a high school junior or senior must have a Composite ACT score of 19 OR have a 3.0 minimum GPA (grade point average).
  - AND an ACT section score of 19 in the area of enrollment on a national ACT, pre-ACT (10th grade) or residual ACT (only one residual ACT per year taken between November 1 to October 31 at Eastern Oklahoma State College); SAT or PSAT score of 990; or ACCUPLACER Test scores of 256 for English, 257 for Math or 248 for Reading.
2. The student cannot enroll in zero-level or remedial courses.
3. A copy of the student’s high school transcript and exam scores must accompany the concurrent form.
4. A minimum 2.00 GPA on college courses is required for continued enrollment.
5. Concurrent students who are receiving instruction at home or from an unaccredited high school must have completed enough coursework to be equivalent to an individual classified as a junior or senior at an accredited high school.
In order to make an appointment with an academic adviser, the following items need to be submitted to the Registrar's Office each semester by emailing admissions@eosc.edu.
1. Completed EOSC Application for Admission
2. Official High School Transcript*
3. Acceptable Admission Exam – ACT, SAT, pre-ACT or residual ACT
4. Concurrent Enrollment Form submitted new each semester
5. Current High School Class Schedule submitted new each semester
6. Immunization Records (visit our Getting Started webpage to learn more)
7. Permission to Disclose Records Form (optional)
8. Concurrent Course Overload Request Form (if applicable)
* All high school students enrolling in summer or fall courses must submit an official transcript that includes the Spring 2021 grades prior to the last day to drop the class or they will be unenrolled.
