WILBURTON, Oklahoma – Eastern Oklahoma State College proudly showcased its programs, facilities, and student achievements during a Dec. 3 visit by Sean Burrage, Oklahoma’s new Chancellor for Higher Education. The visit, part of Chancellor Burrage’s statewide efforts to engage with colleges and universities, followed the annual Southeast Legislative Tour event in Krebs.

The visit highlighted EOSC’s critical role in preparing students for successful careers while addressing regional workforce demands. Burrage toured the college’s state-of-the-art meat science lab, a premier learning facility that equips students with industry-ready skills and training.

EOSC President Dr. Janet Wansick welcomed Burrage and provided an overview of the college’s innovative academic programs, workforce development initiatives, and partnerships with local businesses.
