WILBURTON, Okla. – Eastern Oklahoma State College’s Alumni Association is planning a Hall of Fame event during the college’s annual Homecoming festivities on Friday, Nov. 11 at 6 p.m. Established in 1988, the Alumni Association Hall of Fame recognizes former students who have distinguished themselves in their profession and community.
The Eastern Alumni Association is now accepting nominations for the 2022 Hall of Fame until August 5. Nomination guidelines and the application are available at eosc.edu/alumni.
Notable members of the Eastern Alumni Association Hall of Fame include former Oklahoma Governor George Nigh, former Oklahoma Chancellor for Higher Education Dr. E.T. Dunlap, former Chief Justice of the Oklahoma Supreme Court Tom Colbert, and NASA Space Shuttle Mission Manager Evelyn Jo Whisenhunt-Guthery among others.
