EOSC and Choctaw Nation Announce Deferred Tuition Plan for CNO Associates

January 06, 2026

WILBURTON, Oklahoma – Eastern Oklahoma State College and the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma have announced a new partnership which will allow CNO associates to attend Eastern with deferred tuition.

“The Choctaw Nation has been a longtime supporter and partner of Eastern,” said EOSC President Dr. Randy Harp. “I am thrilled that we are able to extend that partnership in a way that allows Choctaw associates to obtain a quality education at no cost.”

CNO associates will be able to enroll in up to eight academic classes per calendar year and defer eligible tuition charges for EOSC courses for approved degree programs.

“As a proud graduate and distinguished alumnus of Eastern Oklahoma State College, I am excited to have this opportunity available to our associates,” said Choctaw Assistant Chief Jack Austin, Jr. “Educational opportunities and having programs like this available to our Choctaw Nation associates, will only enhance and strengthen our people. It will also give some the opportunity to fulfill a life goal, and we are honored to help make that happen.”
