Latt Jeffrey of Wilburton, Oklahoma, was recently reappointed to serve a second seven-year term as a member of the Eastern Oklahoma State College Board of Regents.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to serve another term as a Regent for Eastern Oklahoma State College,” Jeffrey said. “I deeply appreciate the support from our local legislators, particularly Sen. Warren Hamilton, whose unwavering commitment has ensured strong local leadership for Eastern. His efforts have secured a powerful voice for us at the capital, allowing us to shape our future and best serve our community and students.”

Jeffrey is currently a lease operator with BP America, Inc. He has previously worked for Enduring Resources and Latimer State Bank. A Wilburton High School and Eastern graduate, Jeffrey earned a bachelor’s degree in agriculture economics and animal science from Oklahoma State University. He owns a ranch in Wilburton with his wife, Elizabeth, and two daughters.
“We are pleased Regent Jeffrey will be retaining his seat on the Eastern Board of Regents,” said Dr. Janet Wansick, president of Eastern. “He has worked diligently over the past seven years for the betterment of Eastern and I have no doubt he will continue to be instrumental in building Eastern’s future.”
The membership of the Eastern Board of Regents is made up of seven people appointed by the governor with the advice and consent of the senate. Senator Warren Hamilton carried Gov. Kevin Stitt’s nomination of Jeffrey to the Senate Education Committee for confirmation.
Other regents include Chair Leland Walker of Red Oak, Secretary Larry Spradley of Howe, Brian Lott of McAlester, Cara Bland of McAlester, Eric Bilderback of El Reno and Jerry Hamilton of Indianola.
